Meet The Team

Has always had a love and passion for horses. Started riding at the age of 5 and learned everything she could from her grandfather. Moved to Oregon in her early twenties and started the Rustic Hills Ranch a hauling and small rescue ranch that took in mostly owner surrenders and transported anywhere in the us. Chrystal was part of mounted search and rescue, attended every equine emergency medical class she possibly could while volunteering under numerous equine vets. She moved to East Texas in 2021 and then started the Rustic C Ranch Rescue in 2023. Chrystal is committed to saving as many at risk horses and donkeys as possible and help them find a second chance at loving homes.

Joined the RCRR family in October of 2024, she brings a wealth of experience in handling and showing livestock.

She manages both administrative and technical tasks with a proactive collaborative approach and is always ready to step in.

Joined the RCRR family in January of 2023, he is new to horses but stepped in as our ranch manager and takes care of anything from daily feeding to necessary repairs. He steps up to help with fundraiser events, and appointments for the horses. He has now adopted one of his own and is learning everything he can about the rescue world.

Joined the RCRR family in the summer of 2024.

Her passion for horse’s started when she got her first horse at 1 years old. She is active in FFA as well as showing horses in English and Western riding classes.

She won a world championship in 2024 at Buckskin World as well as a Reserve Champion. Mrs. Gail Brown has trained her in everything she knows. She has experience in desensitizing, training, and breaking horses that others could not touch.

Her passion for horses has led her to help at her mothers work at TSC where RCRR was having an event to raise funds and help this organization. Since then, she has tried to help us in any way she can. 

Joined the RCRR family in the summer of 2024.

The Williams team has been a huge supporter of our RCRR program. They help plan, oversee, and complete many of the construction projects here at the ranch. They volunteer not only their time but materials to all the projects to ensure our rescues have the best!
